COLLECTION, USE AND STORAGE OF PERSONAL DATA

When visiting this event website, the following data is logged by default: name of the pages visited, recognition data of the browser and operating system used, the Internet service provider and the requesting domain, date and time of access, used search engines, names of downloaded files and your IP address. The storage of this data is exclusive and anonymous used for internal, system-related and statistical purposes, in order to make the contents of our website more attractive to you and provides security to the website against attacks.

Additional personal information will only be collected if you agree to voluntarily make it available. The personal data provided by you when completing the PAXIDO® registration form will be used exclusively for the purposes of invitation and participant management or for implementation for the respective event. All personal data will be deleted shortly after the event.

Any differing purposes or longer storage periods will be shown to you in the consent text during your registration. Under no circumstances does the storage itself or data storage longer than the period of the event take place without your consent. This ensures that you are always informed about the duration of your personal data storage and use. You always maintain the right to rectification, deletion, limitation of processing, right to data portability, right of withdrawal and right of appeal to the supervisory authority.

In order to complete the PAXIDO® registration form, you must complete the required fields marked with an asterisk (*). The form also contains the submission of consent to store your information, this requires to box being clicked. Clicking on this check box must be actively carried out by the user. The filling in of all fields not marked with an asterisk (*) is voluntary.

SHARING, DISCLOSURE AND DELETION OF PERSONAL DATA

This event website is an entity of the software PAXIDO®, a product of Paul events GmbH. Paul events carries out the collection, processing and transmission of personal data as part of order data processing and invoicing.

In addition, Paul events will generally not disclose to third parties the data you have stored when you visit the website or the data you submit via the PAXIDO® Online Form, unless you have explicitly consented to such disclosure. A transfer of the data to third parties outside the company organization will only take place if we are obliged to do so by applicable legal regulations.

All members of our company are obliged to comply with the data protection requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

SAFETY NOTICE

Paul events has taken a variety of security measures to protect, adequately and to a reasonable extent, personal information against manipulation, loss, destruction, unauthorized disclosure or access by unauthorized persons. All data stored at Paul events will be protected by physical, technical and procedural measures that restrict access to the information to authorized persons only in accordance with this Privacy Policy. Our security measures are constantly being improved according to the latest technical developments.

The PAXIDO® Web site is protected by a firewall to block access from other networks connected to the Internet. Only our professionals who require the information to perform a specific task will have access to personal information. These employees are trained in security and privacy practices and treat your information confidentially.

The transmission of personal data as part of our participant management system PAXIDO® is encrypted using the industry standard Secure Socket Layer („SSL“) technology.

If you contact us via email outside the participant management system PAXIDO®, the security and confidentiality of your data can not be guaranteed to the same extent.

DELETION OR BLOCKING OF DATA

We adhere to the principles of data avoidance and data economy. Therefore, we store personal data only as long as it is necessary to achieve the aforementioned purposes or as provided for by the statutory retention periods. Should this purpose be omitted the data is deleted.

USE OF COOKIES

Similarly to many other websites we also use so-called „cookies“. Cookies are small text files that are transferred from a website server to your hard drive. This automatically gives us certain data, such as IP address, browser used, operating system of your computer and your connection to the Internet.
